#1 · Best Overall

1. Swing-N-Slide Dual Glider

• Dimensions: 18"D x 40"W x 25"H
• Weight: 15 lb
• Maximum Weight Recommendation: 150 lb
• Material: Plastic

Best for: Two-child teamwork glider.

Why it ranks #1: Its back-to-back two-child design, 150-pound limit, and included 60-inch plastisol-coated chains make it a well-specified backyard option.

The back-to-back seat lets two children ride together and coordinate their pumping, making this a shared-play option rather than a single-seat swing. Its coated chains address pinching concerns, while the 150-pound maximum and recommended ages of 3 to 10 help families assess whether its capacity suits their riders.

The 40-inch-long plastic glider accommodates up to two children, and its back-to-back layout gives them a shared ride while encouraging teamwork. Included 60-inch Plastisol-coated chains help protect hands from pinching, and the set also includes hardware and illustrated instructions. Installation requires a glider bracket or two swing hangers, which are sold separately, so buyers should account for that mounting hardware. The 150-pound maximum applies to the combined load, and the product is for residential use only.

Skip it if you need mounting hardware in the box; the Safe Kidz SK-GSKT includes adjustable steel hangers and a glider bracket.

Choose this for residential swing sets where two children can use a back-to-back glider and share the ride. Check the combined 150-pound limit and plan for a separately purchased bracket or two hangers before installation.

2. Gorilla Playsets Dual Ride Glider

• Dimensions: 38"D x 16"W x 24"H
• Weight: 12 lb
• Maximum Weight Recommendation: 150 lb
• Material: Plastic

Best for: Wooden-playset tandem upgrade.

Why it ranks #2: This two-child tandem glider includes green plastic-coated chains, supports 150 pounds, and is stated to fit Gorilla and most wooden playsets.

Compatibility with all Gorilla Playsets swing sets and most other wooden playsets makes this tandem glider a practical candidate for existing structures. Its back-to-back seating accommodates two children up to a combined 150 pounds, while coated chains and individual footrests support a shared ride with protected hand contact.

The 38-inch-long molded-plastic seat uses a back-to-back layout for two children, with a 150-pound capacity covering their combined load. Green plastic-coated chains are included, and the description lists handles for each rider plus double footrests, giving both children places to grip and brace. The manufacturer estimates one to two hours of assembly for one adult, with tools required but not included. Its stated compatibility covers Gorilla Playsets and most other wooden playsets.

Skip it if you need a swing kit with adjustable steel hangers included; the Safe Kidz SK-GSKT supplies those brackets with its glider.

This is a fit for owners of Gorilla or compatible wooden playsets who want a two-child tandem ride. Allow for the stated assembly time, bring tools, and keep the combined rider weight at or below 150 pounds.

#3 · Best Bracket Kit

3. Safe Kidz Glider Kit

• Dimensions: 16"D x 38"W x 24"H
• Weight: 18.1 lb
• Maximum Weight Recommendation: 120 lb
• Material: Plastic

Best for: All-in-one wooden-set kit.

Why it ranks #3: The kit includes adjustable 18-inch steel hangers, coated chains, mounting hardware, and instructions; its listed weight limit is 120 pounds.

Adjustable 18-inch steel swing hangers come with this Safe Kidz kit, enabling installation without sourcing a separate glider bracket. The package also includes coated chains, mounting hardware, and instructions, while its back-to-back seat gives two children a shared ride on a standard wooden swing set.

The kit pairs a molded-plastic, two-person glider with adjustable steel hangers, coated chains, mounting hardware, and installation instructions. That combination gives buyers the seat and listed mounting components together for a wooden swingset or playset. The seat measures 38 inches wide and 24 inches high, and the specification lists a 120-pound maximum weight recommendation. A separate verified description states support up to 150 pounds, so buyers should treat the listed specification limit as the clearer capacity boundary when selecting riders.

Skip it if you need a clearly stated 150-pound specification without conflicting capacity details; the Swing-N-Slide WS 3452 lists a 150-pound maximum.

Choose this for a wooden playset when receiving the seat, adjustable hangers, chains, and hardware together matters. Note the conflicting capacity information and use the listed 120-pound specification maximum when assessing the combined rider load.

#4 · Highest Listed Capacity

4. PLAYBERG Double Glider

• Dimensions: 15"D x 48"W x 23"H
• Weight: 8 lb
• Maximum Weight Recommendation: 350 lb
• Material: Plastic

Best for: Wide shared-play seat.

Why it ranks #4: Its two-child seat has a listed maximum weight recommendation of 350 pounds, the highest stated figure among these products.

At 48 inches wide, this PLAYBERG double glider gives two children room to share a swinging ride. Its handlebar and footrest add contact points for riders, while the listed 350-pound maximum makes capacity a notable consideration for families comparing two-child seats and their combined load limits.

The 48-inch-wide plastic seat is specified for two children, giving siblings or friends a shared outdoor ride. A handlebar and footrest provide places to hold and brace while swinging, supporting a more stable-feeling riding position. The product information lists a 350-pound maximum weight recommendation and a total hanging length of 78.75 inches, useful details when evaluating load and available swing-set clearance. It can hang from a tree or swing hanger, according to the description.

Skip it if you want coated chains and hardware included; the Gorilla Playsets 04-0037-G lists chains, hardware, and an assembly manual.

Consider this for families seeking a wide, two-child plastic glider with a handlebar and footrest. Check the 78.75-inch hanging length against available clearance, and plan separately for hanging components because the supplied listing does not identify them.

#5 · Included Hangers

5. ZXQDRE Dual Glider

• Dimensions: 34"D x 10"W x 17"H
• Weight: 18.5 lb
• Maximum Weight Recommendation: 220 lb
• Material: Plastic

Best for: Pinch-conscious tandem kit.

Why it ranks #5: This two-person back-to-back model lists pinch-proof coated chains and two swing hangers, with a stated 220-pound maximum.

Included swing hangers distinguish this two-person glider from options that require separate mounting hardware, enabling a more complete installation package for a compatible setup. Its back-to-back ride, pinch-proof coated chains, anti-slip footrests, and comfort grips target shared play for children ages 3 to 10.

The back-to-back seat lets two children share a gliding ride, while anti-slip footrests and comfort grips provide places to brace and hold. Pinch-proof coated chains address hand contact along the suspension, and the listing says two swing hangers are included for installation. The plastic seat has a stated 220-pound maximum, so buyers can compare the combined rider load with that limit. Its listed dimensions are 34 by 10 by 17 inches; the supplied details do not identify a specific hanger adjustment range.

Skip it if you need a stated compatibility fit for wooden playsets; the Gorilla Playsets 04-0037-G lists compatibility with its sets and most wooden playsets.

Choose this when a two-child back-to-back ride, coated chains, and included hangers suit your setup. Its 220-pound listed maximum is a combined-load boundary; check the supplied dimensions and hanger arrangement against the intended mounting location.

6. Swurfer Double Rider Glider

• Dimensions: 70.8"D x 14.9"W x 35.4"H
• Weight: 10 lb
• Maximum Weight Recommendation: 150 lb
• Material: Plastic

Best for: Swurfer bracket-system glider.

Why it ranks #6: Its tandem design is intended for two children and supports up to 150 pounds, but the required Swurfer conversion brackets are sold separately.

The Swurfer tandem glider works with Swurfer Conversion Brackets, enabling an add-on ride for a compatible backyard playset or jungle gym. Its back-to-back layout is intended for two children, and the listed 150-pound maximum and age recommendation of 3 and up provide clear limits for household selection.

The two-child back-to-back arrangement creates a shared gliding ride, while the product is presented as an addition to a swing set or jungle gym using Swurfer Conversion Brackets. Those brackets are sold separately, so the buyer needs to account for that extra component before installation. The plastic seat measures 70.8 inches deep by 14.9 inches wide by 35.4 inches high, making clearance worth checking. Its maximum load is 150 pounds, and the recommended age range is 3 to 12 years.

Skip it if you need a glider kit with steel mounting brackets included; the Safe Kidz SK-GSKT includes adjustable hangers and mounting hardware.

This fits buyers adding a tandem ride to a setup using Swurfer Conversion Brackets. Confirm bracket availability and allow for the listed 70.8-inch depth; the combined rider load must remain within the 150-pound maximum.

7. Swing-N-Slide Wind Rider

• Dimensions: 14"D x 25"W x 72"H
• Weight: 9.8 lb
• Maximum Weight Recommendation: 115 lb
• Material: Plastic

Best for: Single-rider confidence builder.

Why it ranks #7: This single-child glider includes four 51-inch chains and quick links, with an ergonomic seat and a listed 115-pound maximum.

Four 51-inch chains suspend this single-child Wind Rider, enabling a supported gliding position with hand grips and footholds. Its ergonomic seat and HDPE plastic construction suit families seeking a one-rider outdoor swing, while the 115-pound maximum gives a clear capacity boundary for choosing who can use it.

The back-supported ergonomic seat pairs with wide handholds and footholds to give one child contact points while riding. Four 51-inch chains and quick links are included, along with hardware and illustrated instructions, so the package supplies key components for hanging the seat. HDPE plastic is specified for outdoor durability, and the listed maximum load is 115 pounds. Because this is a single-seat model, it fits solo play rather than shared tandem riding.

Skip it if you want two children to glide together; the Swing-N-Slide WS 3452 supports up to two riders in a back-to-back layout.

This suits a child who wants a supported solo swing and a family looking for included chains and quick links. Keep the 115-pound maximum in mind, and choose a different format if shared two-child riding is essential.

#8

8. Eastern Jungle Gym Horse Glider

• Dimensions: 34"D x 17"W x 2.7"H
• Weight: 3.52 oz
• Material: Plastic

Best for: Textured-footrest glider seat.

Why it ranks #8: The textured plastic seat is designed for two children and has double footrests, but the listed components include the seat only.

Heavy-duty textured plastic gives this two-child horse glider a surface intended to help prevent slipping, enabling a more secure-feeling place to ride together. Its double footrests accommodate children of varying heights, and the listing describes a 34-inch-tall, 16-inch-wide, 42-inch-long seat for evaluating space.

The textured plastic surface is specified to help prevent slipping, while the double footrests give riders of different heights a place to brace. Its two-child design encourages shared swinging, and the listing describes rugged, fade-resistant plastic intended to stand up to sun, rain, and snow. The product details also mention plastisol-coated chains and a complete installation bundle, but the specification's included-components field lists only the swing seat. Check package contents and mounting needs before planning installation.

Skip it if you need an unambiguous package list for chains and hardware; the Swing-N-Slide WS 3452 specifies included chains, glider, hardware, and instructions.

This suits buyers prioritizing a textured, two-child seat with double footrests for varying rider heights. Resolve the discrepancy between the bundle description and included-components specification before relying on chains or other mounting hardware being supplied.

9. Apple Outdoor Supply Glider Kit

• Dimensions: 34"D x 17"W x 24.5"H
• Weight: 20 lb
• Maximum Weight Recommendation: 150 lb
• Material: Plastic

Best for: Easy-clean enclosed glider.

Why it ranks #9: The kit lists protective chains, hardware, and eye-bolt connectors, but its specifications state a maximum of one compatible seat despite its double-glider description.

A fully enclosed seat design is described as preventing water and debris from collecting, enabling easier cleanup after outdoor use. This green tandem glider kit also lists grip-textured handles, soft-grip or PVC-coated chains, hardware, and eye-bolt connectors, offering several installation and hand-contact details to weigh.

The enclosed glider body is intended to keep water and debris from collecting, reducing cleanup after outdoor exposure. Grip-Tight handles and soft-grip or PVC-coated chains provide specified contact surfaces for riders, while the title identifies hardware and eye-bolt connectors as kit components. The description says assembly involves securing the handles to the seat before installation. However, the specifications list a maximum compatible number of seats as one, despite the multi-child product title, so confirm the intended riding configuration before choosing it.

Skip it if you require an unambiguous two-seat specification; the Swing-N-Slide WS 3452 explicitly lists a maximum compatible number of two seats.

Consider this if easy cleanup and coated hand-contact points are priorities, and if its installation components match your playset. The one-seat specification conflicts with its multi-child title, so resolve that capacity ambiguity before purchase.

#10

10. Jensen Residential Glider

Best for: Residential rope-and-handle glider.

Why it ranks #10: This residential glider has only a brief description and manual operation listed, without dimensions, rider capacity, weight limit, or included hardware details.

Yellow rope paired with a green handle defines this Jensen residential glider, giving buyers a simple, specific visual and component combination for a swing-set selection. Its listed operation mode is manual, so it is suited to a buyer seeking a manually operated residential glider rather than a powered ride.

The product title identifies a residential glider with yellow rope and a green handle, while the specification lists manual operation. Those details provide a basic description of its intended setting and operating style, but the supplied information does not give dimensions, rider capacity, age guidance, or mounting components. Buyers therefore have little specification detail here for comparing clearance, load, or installation needs. Treat the rope-and-handle description as the available product identification and evaluate compatibility before planning a setup.

Skip it if you need a listed two-child capacity and mounting details; the Gorilla Playsets 04-0037-G specifies both tandem use and included chains.

This may suit a buyer seeking a manually operated residential glider with yellow rope and a green handle. The supplied details do not establish capacity, dimensions, or mounting hardware, so those fit considerations remain unresolved.
